All New X-Men 33 Variant Cover (Volume 1, 2014) - Earth-1610 Miles Morales (early appearance pre Spider-Verse) 1st meets Earth-616 X-Men Marvel Girl (Jean Grey), Beast, Angel & Iceman

Completed a trade with RomitaMan for this Pascual Ferry All-New X-Men cover, featuring an early Miles Morales Spider-Man appearance. This art was published directly from Pascual's pencils. I've been on the lookout for a nice cover with Miles in his original costume so I'm thrilled to find this! The comic book was published after Miles met Peter Parker in Spider-Men (June 2012) and Ultimate Cataclysm (Oct 2013) but before Spider-verse (Nov 2014) and Secret Wars (May 2015). Much of Miles Morales early art was done digitally besides his first appearance cover for Ultimate Fallout 4 by Mark Bagley and Ultimate Comics: AlI-New Spider-Man #1 variant cover by Sara Pichelli. The first physical interior art of Miles Morales started in Ultimate Comics: All-New Spider-Man #5 by David Messina (Dec 2011).

"All-New X-Men" comic began in 2012 when the original teenage X-Men (Cyclops, Beast, Angel, Iceman, and Marvel Girl) from the early Silver Age Lee/Kirby era time travelled from the past into the messy, present day Marvel Universe.

This comic storyline sees the young X-Men use Cerebro to locate a new mutant named Carmen Cruise. Young Carmen is only just coming into her powers and when approached she accidentally teleports the X-Men from Earth-616 to the Ultimate Universe dimension Earth-1610. The X-Men team is scattered around the Ultimate Universe's version of Earth. Luckily Jean Grey quickly stumbles upon Miles Morales Spider-Man. Miles helps Jean locate her team and get them back to Earth-616 with the Ultimate X-Men's assistant.

Miles Morales Spider-Man was introduced in Ultimate Fallout #4 (2011). When the original Ultimate Spider-Man (Peter Parker) died, Miles took his place as the new Spider-Man of the Ultimate continuity. Following the merger of realities in 2015's Secret Wars, the popular Miles became a resident of the traditional Marvel Earth-616.
