Description
"Hi, Cappy! I'm Diamondback!" (3 of 3)

You have absolutely no idea how shocked I was when presented this rare opportunity to acquire not one, not two but THREE consecutive pages in which Captain America meets Diamondback for the very first time! A complete sequence! What are the odds?! Diamondback, ahh my heart...was the one I really, really wanted to win Steve's heart for good. Her Gruenwald-era appearances, including the painstakingly slow bonding between her and Cap, were always something for my teenage self to look forward to read more of. Pure fuckin' nostalgia.

And look at that action! Just crazy fun! Serpent Society is my all-time favorite team in comics. Great character designs. The inclusion of MODOK is a very nice bonus indeed! I think this issue was the only collab in which Al Williamson inked over Paul Neary's pencils. An unusual combo but very nicely done!

Likewise! I do miss the early years of our favorite group. Just not the same nowadays. Thank you for the comments!

An action sequence no less!  Every panel has direction of motion and cap's power put behind it pushing the action to the next panel!

Ii have plans to frame two three-pagers with three-hole matting (ot gonna be cheap!) in the near future. If you're curious to see the other one, you can find the three MTIO 54 pages in my Vintage Thundra subgallery. I think they will make a killer wall display!
