Beyond cool! Was a big 80s ThunderCats fan, too. I do have a page from that series. By Jim Mooney. It has Cheetara as its focus but also has most core characters from both sides. I'll try to post it on CAF soon. Hoooooo!
Stunning piece! G.I. Joe ARAH was a huge part of my childhood. I could still remember how and where I got each toy and comic I had. Destro and Baroness action figures came from asmall rack attached to one side of an endcap at K-mart. Full of new releases I saw for the first time. One of many magical moments. Congrats!
Ii have plans to frame two three-pagers with three-hole matting (ot gonna be cheap!) in the near future. If you're curious to see the other one, you can find the three MTIO 54 pages in my Vintage Thundra subgallery. I think they will make a killer wall display!
Likewise! I do miss the early years of our favorite group. Just not the same nowadays. Thank you for the comments!
We're witnessing history here! The beginning of a beautiful friendship between the gals who would eventually form B.A.D. Girls, Inc.!
I was eagerly awaiting your comments! ;) Yes, good Serpent Society action pages this early ain't easy to get ahold of. Just beyond fortunate.
I remember how livid I got when I read that issue on its release week. Particularly when Pietro leaped off Thundra's back. "How dare he! Thundra, catch him and break every single body of his!" Ok, maybe not that kind uf reaction but I didn't care for that insulting move. :P A beautiful pickup, fellow Thundra fan!
Just looked at your other Scarlett commissions. All, including this one, are just beyond fantastic. Now I think the artists involved would've done great Cover Girl commissions...had I thought of doing such a theme years ago. Very nice, Mal. Yo Joe!
Classic FemForce cover by AC's best dynamic duo...so nice to see it in original art form! Can't help but think of that classic JLA cover with Starro. Glad it ended up being part of your kickass FemForce art collection!
Not boring at all. Just underused or unfamiliar. That's one of the most appealing things about OHOTMU. Plus Mr. Hyde is a major addition so congrats!
Nice get! There's that Lockjaw turnaround from Master Edition...it has a poop stat/paste-on on the rear-view portion. Not sure if it's Rubinstein's doing...maybe a staffer's? I got that for a collector friend like 15 years ago. Just a FYI...should you decide to start a certain theme... ;)
Gorgeous! And it even has NASA astronauts...a perfect combo for you, old buddy! Congrats!
Just took a closer look...damn, very cool in many ways! Congrats!
Thanks, Ben! I'd have loved to meet Ms. Fradon and give her some kind words. Too bad there weren't a few more Fantastic Four issues by Fradon & Sinnott.

As the fella who coined the very phrase, I say WET THE TITS! Just what did you do to make Brian Peck not go after this piece? Only the very few managed to accomplish such a feat. Congrats!
Simply awesome...congrats on this most excellent pickup! I think I see Mickey Mouse's signature over there...
I wonder if Steve Jobs is printing out all of your iPod/iBod pieces for his private notebook... Another very nice piece, Bri.
Having "owned" this page for less than 24 hours made it all the more painful for me to "part" with it. Boo hoo. Look at that body of hers dancing... *wolf whistle* Great teamwork by John & Al. A wonderful addition to your collection, indeed.
Interesting perspective....very cool cover. Congrats. Looking at all of your nice Old Man Logan pages just got me curious enough to give that storyline a chance sometime soon. I haven't read anything modern (other than the Cap Reborn mini) since the early 90s. Wow, that's a long time. :) Again, congrats on the OML pickups.
Ha...that's one very nifty mockup. I used to collect those Toy Biz X-Men (and Marvel) carded figures because their cardbacks had individual character art. The early 90s were the waning years for such toy packaging art in general. Good score. Now...who's that Atlantean pretending to be Magneto? :)
Red Sonja is definitely prettier than Thor...that's for sure. :) Congrats for another nice childhood-memory score.
That's Lon Chaney? I never did see what he looks like out of makeup. At first, I thought that was YOU trying to look as demented as possible. Silly me. That's a real masterpiece among your countless wonderful trophy walls. Just amazing.
This was used for door posters? Wow, that's like the perfect "Enter at your own risk" art. Congrats on getting this primo Bolland example.
This totally splashy page oozes awesomeness of Brobdingnagian proportions. Glad things turned around in your favor. Congrats! :o)
Five cents please! I evaluate this to be a truly wonderful acquisition so congratulations!
[applause] Good score, Felix. Good? No, strike that...mind-bogglingly awesome!
Wow, what a totally awesome piece! How in the world did you end up with that?? ;)
Huge congratulations to you! A truly stunning piece. This is the type of commission that really feels like a classic published pinup. By the way, the addition of a logo was my idea...so give me some credit here. :)
After getting my first Gotto (a Ozark Ike daily), I did a search on Gotto artwork and came across this wonderful piece. I just keep coming back to have another look at this. Very aesthestically pleasing. It's very nice of Ray to let you have this in addition to the other 2 which are also nice but this one is the best. I would love to own this particular piece someday. *sighs dreamily*
Very nice pickup. Free Spirit ought to wear Coachwhip's outfit from now on as it does make her look much sexier...
Nice strip! Ernie should've included hungry crocs in the moat...chomp, chomp...
A wonderful example of what's sorely lacking in today's comics in general and you all know what that is. Glad you were able to score something you wanted for a long, long time....congratulations. :o)
I can't seem to understand your perverse fascination with Judge Death...is it his sparkling white teeth or what? Just kidding. Congratulations on getting a gorgeous piece.
Matt, this is an awesome turnaround! How the heck did it end up in your hands, not mine? ;) Merry Christmas!
