Description
"The Big Cushion" written by Bob Haney, April 1958.

Heath was equally great at infantry, military aviation, and naval action, e.g., frogmen and subs in the latter. This P-51 action page has dueling fighters, flak, and the aviator's tense, sweaty expression.

A very handsome war page from Golden Age DC!  It brings a lot of emotion and lets you in the cockpit to make the connection that the exterior dog fight panels have more at stake than just machine vs machine!
