Star Trek TNG: Deanna Troi

Admittedly, Deanna Troi is the first Star Trek character in general I've ever been hired to draw. Since my best friend is a TNG afficionado - trust me you will lose in a quiz match - I had the best source of information to draw from for this piece. Eventually I settled on a composition of Deanna in a crisis situation in this 11 x 14". Etched on Canson with mixed media, Troi is trapped in a cave-in and has just carved a tunnel with a phaser rifle as far as she could. Without going into detail, this was one of the most challenging pieces I've had to tackle as of late. TNG was one of my favorite shows growing up, so this was really an enjoyable piece.
