Joe Quesada is one of the best artists in modern era comics. He has a great eye and a great sense of composition and anatomy. Love this piece--It demonstrates his mastery of the medium.

This may be the first time I've ever seen a Quesada illustration with such perfectly clean lines and such little rendering. Almost like it's used for animation. Really neat gift, Nicky! Oh, and huge props to Kevin Nowlan for the killer inking job on the published cover.

The published cover defnitely got the star treatment with Nowlan and Isanove enhanced inks and paints.  It's great when artists can still appreciate the fanboy in their fans.
