A beautiful mix of cartoon and horror. Even though I'm not familiar with the series this is still a great piece stand alone. Congrats

Thanks, David.  The Fighting Fantasy game books series was an early to mid-80's hybrid of Choose Your Own Adventure and Dungeons & Dragons.  It had really great art in many of the books and I have resigned myself to never being able to afford (or even find!) any of the originals so the best I can do are the commission homages from contemporary artists.

The modern take is a fabulous reminder of the illustrative work put into fantasy gaming even back then when the fanbase was still in its infancy.

Yup, Marcus.  Those early 80's days were a magical time for fantasy art!  It still has me under its spell!
