its exhausting how many published covers there are to vampirella titles. there are variants upon variants, sketch covers to photo covers to virgin images etc. its a bit messy. the wonderful thing about all that excess is that if you want some original cover artwork featuring vampirella...you can find it. this one showed up for sale last year and it struck me. i like the idea that not everything is in proportion. the legs and fingers seem a bit off. in my mind it adds to the undead creature vibe rather than a swimsuit model image.
