Description
Cover art to Ultimate FF # 3 ( 2014 )
1:25 Incentive Ratio Variant Cover
by Christian Ward

Edit : WOW, as user - Davide G. so kindly pointed out, this cover is actually an homage or ode to a 16th century Marble Bust done by Giambologna (Johannes of Boulogne) completed in the year 1582 called the Abduction of a Sabine Woman . Attached images show the stark comparison that cannot be mistaken !!! What a spectacular and provocative image to harken all the way back to. Making this piece extra special !!

Absolutely beautiful, crisp, fine line magic by style legend Christian Ward .

Tangled Trio featuring 3 Ultimate Universe heavy hitters !
VICTOR VAN DAMME, NAMOR, AND SUSAN STORM !!!

What a cover to remember, as my very first Marvel original cover.
Especially for a Doom fanatic like me .
Thanks for stopping by, more Doom art coming DOOM, I mean, SOON !

Wow.......I was today years old when i realized this was an homage...from the 1500s no less, that is really amazing, definitely adds history and significance to this epic creation. Thank you so much for telling me this .

Congrats, FC!  Some legit clean line work here, but the graphic design element is really what stands out to me - killer stuff.  Congrats!

A Mid 16th century composition still holding strong to this day, and the confidence in those lines really does bring this piece so whole . Thank you K.G, my friend !
