Thank you, my brother in music, for forcing me to reveal my shame in not having ever known until this moment that this was a George Benson song and having instead lived under the impression for 35 years that it was a new, one hit wonder by that no-name Greek kid, Glenn Medeiros. I mean, props to him for taking someone else's song and having a hit with it, but shame on him for making me think it was an original and shame on me for taking more than 35 to find out the truth! Even worse, the Medeiros version came out only 2 years after Benson's! But that just goes to show how easily a great song can slip through the cracks when it isn't done in a genre that gets lots of air play. Take a good R&B song not getting much traction, redo it as a Pop ballad and presto, instant hit! Ugh....

I never heard this before, but is so perfect to represent their love on a Model Sheet lol.

Love these model sheets. I enjoy seeing prelims, early sketches and all the other collateral material that goes into comic art. It really gives you a sense of how artists create these things we enjoy. Thanks for sharing!
