Love the tangents the panels have as a whole that stretches from the first to the last in this layout. From the slope in the first two, then the arch from two to four.
Great to see a Charlton Phantom page. Most of my issues are well worn. Boyette was my introduction to the Phantom, but as time went on, you learn to appreciate the artist. I really wish there was more of the Phantom at out there. This is great panel design and perspective. The first 2 panels the Phantom is in the background small and captive. The last 2 panels he is in the foreground and now subjected to dominant sized captors. Great panel design and cinematographic eye. Lovely piece.
Boyette is certainly an artist who doesn't get his proper due. This is a fantastic example of his work. Congrats on the pickup!
