Very popular series for Romita Jr and Janson. Their art matched the grim and grittiness that the audience responded to at the time who wanted to see their heroes pile up the dead bodies of the bad guys. The scarred up faces and the broad shouldered Frank Castle would make you rethink your life of crime real quick.
