Marcarini captures a snapshot at the height of chilling terror with the razor blade upon the victim. The emotions show on the faces are so forecfully raw and resonates with the audience. She reaches out for help from the Italian flag, but is stopped furthering our frustration. The background colors of red and blue are also divide the paitning as passion and madness clashes with decency and order.
