Description
P. Craig Russell's work eluded me for a long time, until I stumbled over Elric: Stormbringer. As amazed as I was, most of us (including myself) might vividly recall when Sandman #50, "Ramadan" hit the stores. (Add a pile of months for me to get my hands on it, being on the wrong side of the Atlantic.)

For Craig's "Anniversary: 50 Years in Full Color" indiegogo campaign, I took the chance and asked for a commission featuring Haroun Al Raschid. I mean, if you think about it, that's a brave decision to hand his city for it to survive and not crumble like other cities did.

So, there you go.

Love this image. Craig has been doing some great work lately in the lead up to his new book.
