DescriptionThis is my one and only Savage Sword of Conan cover (231). It was one of the last few issues before Marvel discontinued their oversized B&W Conan mag. I so badly wanted to do more, but I’m still so grateful that I got one!!Fun side note—There’s 70 heads on this illustration (the original. Some got trimmed for print). I sure wouldn’t mind doing more Conan covers, but they don’t seem too interested in me, even though I’m a better artist today that I was then. If you’d like to see me do more Conan art, hit up the new Conan publishers and request to see some art from me on their books. I’m ready, willing, and able!! Social/Sharing |
