DescriptionI asked Mr. Woodring about this piece because it seemed to be a lot of work for just a prelim. He answered that it dates back to the year 2000 and he used it "... as a tone guide, and work-up plan." Whether Jim Woodring is working with pencil, ink, charcoals, or paints, he just seems to master the media.Social/Sharing |

The skill and talent can't be quantified with pieces like this. More finished than most published pieces of mainstream books.

Jim Woodring's work is amazing! I love his idiosyncratic way of looking at the world. Great pick-up!

This is just so lovely to look at. That first panel is a thing of utter beauty and so perfectly establishes the setting for later Unifactor stories with Frank.
