I found myself hoping that Levi would eventually get Jacob/Hedera to come around and over from the dark side, but I suppose it wasn't meant to be. Hedera's design is so cool, I love those giant antlers! Perkins really did a fabulous job bringing the reader in to Swamp Thing's world, everything looking so organic and natural. Great page choice for a great price!

One thing about these Perkins pages of Swamp Thing, they are very immersive and the more you stare into them, the more you'll be engrossed within that world being invested in the story itself.

Landing a great "swamp setting" page from the fantastic V/Perkins run is a treat in itself, but you may have "one-upped" the usual depth and dimension of the toned backgrounds with the white paint / misty entrance Hedera pulls off here. So begins the final confrontation between the two brothers, steeped in as much emotion as ink and wash. Terrific pick up, HH - congrats!
