BAMF! We interrupt this regularly scheduled Colleen Doran show to bring you some breaking art - fresh in from WonderCon 2023!

Absolute sweetheart of a guy Josh Cassara had these delightful minis with him that I could not resist. After breaking storms and pwning the Vault, Cassara is definitely reaching a new level. Cassara was taking tons of time of time for fans and it was a pleasure to speak with him.

The con itself was a pleasant Friday morning. Bechara was the only OA dealer there, and some of the usual suspects could be spied about the booth. Adam Hughes was also in attendance, drawing lines literally and figuratively. DWJ was in small press, and I could only feel a pang of sympathy for the others around him! He is a juggernaut.

Lots of cosplay too - perhaps the proximity to Disney helped with that. Overall a fun diversion. It was very nice to meet fellow CAF collectors and artists.

Look we all love when an artist fills a blank page with ink but this is a delightful masterclass in applying just the right amount of detail. Very fitting for the character.

All the white also made me realize that I REALLY need to clean my scanner bed! 😛

He's a small wonder, lovely and bright full of swirls
He's a small crawler, a child of atom for Charles.
He's in color though, and I Bamf you
He'll mutant you at first sight.
It's a Cassara, and He'll make your art take flight.

He's fantastic, made the comics.
Craftsmanship everywhere.
He's a tall wonder, brings love Nightcrawler over here.

Absolutely charming piece, M L! You know, the good thing about such a zoomed-out view here is that along with all the 'porting, you can actually see all of his starboarding as well... Great piece that is guaranteed to bring a smile (unlike that last pun)! I love this! Great pick up, M L!
