Gorgeous John Buscema page from Tazan #7. I am amused by the whole notion of "Language of the Great Apes." It's like one of those tourist guides for Europe with "French words to learn for your trip." That said, Buscema's drawings are beautiful. Even more so with Rudy Mesina's strong inks. Great pick-up! Congrats!

In some senses, this could have been a 'throw-away' filler page at the end of a comic. But Buscema treated it as an opportunity to showcase his talent, putting everything into the poses and expressions. And the gorgeous Mesina inks help too. Nice page!
