Description

Tom Grindberg personal work entitled "Meteor Madness." This one features Buck and Wilma in trouble as always! Tom has done quite a few of these Famous Funnies - Buck Rogers tributes inspired by the master Frank Frazetta. And this one has a definite Famous Funnies No. 212 vibe to it and that is a very good thing indeed!

I believe that Tom is selling prints of this and will hand color it if requested for an additional fee.

I love when Grindberg does science fiction. He likes to wear his inspirations on his sleave when he does these more personal pieces. This is fantastic! Congrats Glynn!

Grindberg's enthusiasm and inspiration from the golden age of sci-fi adventure shows in all meticulous small details and the long graceful lines in this piece. It has imaginative fantasy, adventure, and pin up qualities. The textures of all the surfaces are all carefully rendered, and the inks are well done to bring out their lustre.
