Description

A British artist produced this set of twelve illustrations of children for Franklin Mint plates, one released in each month of 1984. It was listed at auction as "Joys of Victorian Year," but the actual series title was "The Old Fashioned Almanac." Flower-wreathed scenes like these were popular on wall calendars of the late nineteenth century.
