Description

'Robert received a New York City education, attending the High School of Music and Art and The School of Visual Arts. After college. Robert engaged in fantasy art, illustrating science fiction paperback covers from 1970 - 1976 with Ballantine Books. His fantasy artwork has become collectible to fantasy art followers.'

As the two examples here show, Logrippo works in the primitivist 'American Craft' style, utilizing brightly contrasting colors in lieu of intricate design or fine blending, often serving a nostalgic, innocent feel. Each is painted directly on a large sheet of plywood, 1/2" thick.
