Description

What captivated me was the top panel. It is pure art. It could be a scene from an illustrated novel or a panel to an article. Cowan & Sienkiewicz are one of those rare teams that just click. The atmosphere of this page is what attracted me.

Journalist Jack Ryder (The Creeper) and Chicago Police congregate around the wrecked car and the twelfth dead body left in the wake of Deathstroke's Chicago killing spree. Cowan and Sienkiewicz evoke a gritty noir atmosphere on this page from "Chicago". Crafted in Ink, white paint highlights over graphite on DC/Vertigo Bristol board with an image area of 10.75" x 16.5".

Agree - a natural team - I especially like the damsel in the lower left

Hard not to pick a panel and say I like that. No costumes but a very well designed with great panel layout.
