Annihilation Issue #5 Pg. 4 (ft. Drax, Moondragon, Thanos)

This is the last of the pages I picked up from the Annihilation series and what a page it is. I love the raw emotions on both Drax's and Mondragon's face. Andrea Di Vito really nailed the emotions of this heated moment. I also just love the fact that this is a Drax and Moondragon page. Thus far I have also collected one from Warlock and the Infinity Watch as well as from Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. However, this page comes with a special surprise. Note the legs extending into panel two. Those aren't just any legs. Those are Thanos's legs and with that you have destiny fulfilled for our good old pal Drax the destroyer. If you haven't read this story, you might just want to give it a gander because it has quite a beautiful moment between Drax and Thanos in the previous issue. The dialogue throughout the page pertains to the unthinkable act that Drax just accomplished and Moondragon reprimanding her father for not thinking of the implications. Annihilus is still public enemy number one and Moondragon believed Thanos may have been a key to helping stop the Annihilation wave. Thanos had the ability to free Galactus. However, Moondragon believes Drax prevented any hopes of regaining the power of Galactus. Feel free to read beyond this page to find out more.
