Description

Many of my comic/illustration collecting friends know that, in addition to published pages, I collect commissions featuring Marvel’s female jungle character - Shanna the She-Devil! I recently requested a commission from amazing Melbourne-based freelance artist David Dunstan! (@loopydavestuff on Instagram).

Dave has worked in various fields including work for Mad Magazine, Modesty Blaise material, advertising, DVD covers etc. He works traditionally and digitally and his pencil pieces are beautiful.

While I will be picking up my Shanna pencil piece at a later date, Dave created this very humorous digital piece and printed 1 copy for me to reflect the various jungle girl characters from various companies over the years. He gave this to me last weekend at Supanova Melbourne where he was a guest of the show. I love it! 😆👍 Thanks Dave!

Wow, I really like this. What a great way to feature all these ladies of the jungle. Jana/Jungle Girl is my favorite.

Very nice line up of traditional jungle girls! Not as popular as they once were, but understandable with so many of them to split the audience's attention through the years. Every generation seems to have their own favorite and Marvel's Shanna seems to be this generation's.
