Dr. Thaddeus Bodog Sivana

Heh heh heh! Dr. Thaddeus Bodog Sivana — the definitive mad scientist and arch-enemy of the Big Red Cheese. Hefs been trying to get rid of Cap and/or Billy Batson ever since his first appearance in Captain Marvelfs premier adventure in Whiz Comics #2. It is really fitting that this Whofs Who artwork was done by Kurt Schaffenberger — longtime Captain Marvel and the Marvel Family artist during both the Golden Age and Bronze Age of comics.

C.C. Beck claimed that he modelled Dr. Sivana on his neighbourhood Long Island druggist, but he also bears a remarkable resemblance to Count Orlok (Max Schreck) in Nosferatu (1922).
