The Witcher III: Geralt Vs. Ceri

It's taken a long time to get this right, but I think even The White Wolf himself would approve. Etched on 11 x 14" Canson 98 lb. with mixed media is a battle at Kaer Moran between adopted father and daughter. Utilizing the lessons I learned from the previous Frozen project, I created depth in this piece and a snow storm via acrylic white and different sized brushes. The background, meanwhile, were dusted by a layer of soft lead Prismacolor pencil crayons to convey that notion of a thick blizzard. Of course I had to offset a lot of the muted colors with blood red on Ceri's shirt, Geralt's busted blade, and snow underneath him. My client is satisfied with the results and I'm thankful that another project has met with positive critiques thus far.
