Department Truth issue 2 splash by Martin Simmonds

This is one of my favorite series. I purchased this several years ago from a Dueling Dealer show from Mikhail, and to get a page from so early on in the series was a win.  I am being truthful.

Martin Simmonds gray wash is stunning with the major players from this issue present.  I have added the color page from the series for reference.

The second issue of "The Department of Truth" features Cole Turner, who has spent most of his life suppressing false memories of Satanic ritual abuse at his preschool. Now, he is the newest recruit of the Department of Truth and discovers that those false memories might be truer than he thinks. The issue continues to explore themes of conspiracy, belief, and government influence, with a focus on the dark secrets behind the Department of Truth. The artwork is beautifully rendered in dark shades of horror by artist Martin Simmonds, contributing to the story's intense and engaging atmosphere.
