Cannon C 119

I have been a long-time fan of Wally Wood's superhero work, but must confess I didn't know about his Cannon work until joining CAF back in 2017. Ran across a strip by happenstance and decided to read the collected strip soon after.

From 1970-74, Wood wrote and drew Cannon, an adventure strip designed for a newspaper distributed exclusively to military bases. Cannon is a dehumanized killer "wet-works" agent for the US government, and most of his adventures included beautiful, busty women -- usually nude, for little reason at all.

In this encounter, love that Cannon closes his eyes to allow his pupils to dilate before shooting out the lights to gain a darkened-vision advantage over the thugs.
