Description

1500$ + shipping: full insurance: 50$ Europe + UK / 65$ USA + Canada ! No customs tax in EU countries ! USA + UK and rest of the world : additional customs taxes or charges may occur - please check at with your country's customs tax division ! I also can send the art for 30$ (Europe) / 40$ (USA, etc..) - insured up to 500 Euro and declared cheap when sending – AT YOUR OWN RISK ! ------------- The art is very large 14 x 17 inches (35 x 43 cm) ! Signed with a golden marker. I have no idea if this was published somewhere. Cover-style pin-up with the character he created for Image Comics in the 1990s! CONDITION: see pictures! "Very good" (in comic book grading) = various "using signs", mostly on the back of the artboard, the paper has some minor wrinkles and a small tear (2,25 inches (5,5 cm), with a 1 inch /2,5 cm) piece of tape on the back) on the left side. The photos show light reflection, the art is without any fading in the black inks in full black! The red color is done with marker and slightly faded! -------------------
“History” of this page: The original seller (when I bought it many years ago) stated that Jae flew to the Philippines in 1996 to drew an "Aster 1" cover for "Entity Comics" publisher Billy Lim-It and also this piece personally for him there.

Impressive piece in person that looks like one of his few Hellshock covers but better than most, how often did you ever saw (!) splashes penciled and inked by by Jae in THIS SIZE and with color (red marker)? Almost all his published art in the last 15 years was pencils only and most of his newer covers/pinups are extremely small (and usually only one figure with zero background - in the middle of large 11x17 art board or very small commissions on a regular comicbook cover)!
In my opinion: the wild art from his early years was much stronger than the newer over-“stylished” pencils-only stuff..!
