FIRE and ICE

12"x19" Acrylic

Upcoming cover, but I�m not sure what issue as of yet.

I�ve consciously avoided doing any Frazetta inspired homages over the years as Frank�s work is so patently individual that I�ve always felt that any attempt I�d make would come across as a poor man�s Frazetta imitation. There have been some absolutely incredible Death Dealer paintings done by some of the best talents in my industry, but the trap is that the character is so iconically Frazetta that that one can�t help but �do Frazetta�.

I�ve always felt Darkwolf was such a great looking design and the Fire & Ice characters offer much more leeway to incorporate a lot more of me in the depictions, so I found this to be a lot of fun and I�m really happy with the final result.
