Squarriors headshots (2023)

Ash Maczo's series Squarriors mashes up Watership Down with The Last of Us as tribes intelligent woodland animals vie for resources in the wake of a zombie apocalypse which has destroyed humankind. Ashley Witter's art is nothing short of amazing. I got the oversized two volume hardback set comprising "Spring" and "Summer." Each came with a remarque in the front. The headshot sketch on the left is young mouse Spin, while the more finished figure on the right is the hyperactive sugar glider Crash.
