This cyberpunk series follows a corporate detective. It seems very similar to the Ravage 2099 character that Marvel Comics started in 1992; both even wear a Rick Deckard-inspired coat. But Nathan began a year earlier.

In this part of the story, Nathan (in the black shirt) and his partner Jack get instructions from their boss Solomon Darver:

"Welcome back!"

"Thanks."

"Nathan and I are looking at the schedule of special shifts assigned to the various agencies ... this year we have the summer. We'll have to cover two per cent of the normal police duty."

"Not much, huh?"

"Tomorrow we're going to discuss it with the mayor. By the way, for the next three months, the civic security office won't pass us any cases."

"This means that we will be able to work at a more humane pace."

"Nope. We have to find other clients. I'm not going to sacrifice our case volume. Indeed, it will be good if you come up with some new sources of income!"
