The amount of detail in his 50's work is incredible. I don't think there was another artist of his caliber. It would have been interesting to have been in the room watching him work. Congrats.

Wood gets to the essence of what effect it's supposed to have on the audience by using such a beautiful inked line that you can't turn away from the horror and terror. You just can't buy this issue fast enough! The monstrosity that's about to devour the space girl begs you to rip your pocket just to get a dime out to hand it over to the newsstand guy.
