Tex has been one of the most popular Italian comics since his debut in 1948, far outselling any American book even today. He's a Ranger (which should make him Texan, but he lives in Arizona) and also an Indian chief by marriage. His roots go back to late 19th century Italian heroes like the noble pirate Sandokan. This story is "The Coffin Merchants." According to an online summary:
"Tex is determined to catch John Coffin, the only surviving accomplice of Rebo who can exonerate him. While he’s trying to prevent Coffin from stealing a load of weapons intended for the army, our hero stumbles upon an unpleasant and unexpected surprise. Not only the Coffin gang, but also Fort Bliss’ soldiers, and all the region’s Sheriffs are against him. What about the Texas Rangers? Which side will Dan Bannion and Buck Barry, who went there to investigate the disappearance of the weapons, take?"
Sure enough, we see how this story ends with some coffins for the Coffins. I'm confused by the page number 199 at the bottom since this is a 64 page book. The panel break on the top tier is an unusual feature for this book.
