DescriptionCLICK HERE FOR AUCTION LISTING!"Los Luchadores Del Espacio," or The Space Fighters, was a long-running series of paperback sci-fi novellas published in Spain by Editorial Valenciana every 15 days during 1953-1963. A total of 234 novels were published, this lot features mixed media original art for the cover to novella published in 1957. Thin artboard measures 6-7/8x9.25" and depicts spacewoman fleeing from winged space ghoul. Title is hand-lettered at bottom right and series title is pasted stat at lower left. Lower right has been signed by artist. Art has some scattered loss of white paint to spine title and artboard has some lt. aging but still displays VF. Comes w/reading copy of the novella this cover art was created for. Social/Sharing |
