Description

Preview night for SDCC. A celebration of Superheroes. Who better to post than the original Captain Marvel, one of the oldest superheroes.

Sweet pin up of Shazam, Captain Marvel, by Sprouse and Perez. Done for the War of the Gods mini series. There were a series of pin ups that appeared towards the end of each book. The pin ups chosen didn't make sense to me, Shazam, Lobo, Robin, Deathstroke and some others I don't remember. They were all done by Sprouse and Perez though, so they all looked great.

I'll be at SDCC booth #829 for most of the week, unless I'm wandering the floor. Come by and say hi, ask for Ceasar.

Fun piece! I hope they're unchaining you from the booth table every now and then. All work and no play makes Ceasar a dull boy!

Cool piece from pretty early in Sprouse's career. Chris' art style works well with the Golden Age style characters.
