A thrill ride of a story featuring former cop Travis Clevenger who was the most effective tracker of superhumans in the country, until he was sentenced to twenty years in a maximum-security prison for killing his partner and Special Agent Saffron Bell, who is tasked with trying to keep Clevenger on his leash.

The FBI have offered Clevenger a reduced sentence in exchange for helping them capture a super-powered serial killer whose next intended victim is the daughter of Clevenger's dead partner.

In this scene Special Agent Bell has taken Clevenger to the home of his former partner's widow, Trish, and her daughter, Rachel so that he can get a feel for their current lives to help him catch the killer stalking Rachel.
