DescriptionTotal command of the anatomy, great rendition of every single detail, masterful use of the medium: all this and much more can be said about this striking piece by Esad, featuring none other than the Greek god of war and courage!I don't know if this character/project has seen the light or if it'll do in the future, but it would definitely be worth it. Thanks again to Francesco & Andrea at tavoleoriginali.net! (pencils and watercolors on artboard, roughly 9,5"x 12,5" - initialed) Click HERE to see all Ribic's art in my Gallery Social/Sharing |

The style, the medium, and the tone of the piece gives off the feel that this piece was unearthed by an archeologist from a time of myth and legend.

Lotsa Ribic skills on display, and I'm sure that has a lot to do with it being a study. Must look that much better in person. Congrats!

Superb piece ! Love Ribic since his "Loki" mini-series some 20 years ago ! Would like know what this "study" is for..would perfectly fit for a 3rd "300" (Frank Miller's Spartans) film too as it doesn't really look like Marvel ("Thor"-Greek gods-Ares) art Huge congrats, this must be a beauty in person.

Wonderful piece! I also hope this will materialize somehow into a full scope project: that would be quite a thing!
