A milestone cover and Gil Kane was up to making it special! He showed the human drama in Western scenes with staging that hadn't been seen in printed form like this.

Not sure if there was a more prolific cover artist during the Bronze Age than Gil Kane. No surprise that he was the first artist I fell in love with when I began to recognize and identify art styles as a kid. Having his hat shot off is brilliant. You can almost hear the bullet zip through the air. Wow!

Gil Kane and Neal Adams did my favorite western covers from around this era. Underappreciated and so, so good.

a relly nice cover from a very untapped market (that is starting to grow) the western comic. you can see Gil Kane's work all over this cover .

Love Kane's Western covers and this one in particular--the crouching pose, the bullet through the hat; all so awesome. Guns a'blazin'!

I love the use of the low horizon line in this piece. It helps put the viewer squarely in the action. A wonderful piece, Ron. Congrats!

POssibly some of his best work I own two and really regret not having found more before the price skyrocketed! This is a good example of the really complicated covers he did for Marvel westerns

Wow! What a fabulous Western cover from Gil Kane! Love this image of Kid Colt, ducking down, gun drawn, about to shoot. Also love the drawing of the horse behind him, rearing back. Just a fabulous Kid Colt, Outlaw cover, drawn by one of the best cover artists ever. Great pick-up!
