DescriptionGorgeous, lush title spread by Michael Zulli from the "The Wake" story arc. This page is from the issue 73 story, "Sunday Mourning," in which Morpheus' old friend Hob Gadling, now going by the name Robert, begrudgingly spends the day at a Renaissance faire with his partner, Gwen. The page is mostly uninked pencils, with the exception of the flower border which was inked for the credits box.I unfortunately don't have a high resolution scan of the page, as it was already framed when I acquired it, so I guess we'll have to make do with this shitty iPhone pic. Wonderful page, and thank you for finally putting that listing out of its misery!

Thanks Mikail! I'm surprised you didn't snatch it up first!

Idyllic setting lush with pencil work that would drive many artists insane!

Gorgeous! Pencil-only pages are under-appreciated in the hobby.

Absolutely. Apparently, root beer was huge back during the Renaissance. PBR and chocolate chip cookies, too!

Pages without major characters in them do not get a whole lotta love in our hobby, but I beg to differ. Looking at this one, you can almost read Gaiman's script welcoming the reader into a new scene with a page turn, which is at the same time a curtain pulled back by Hob. Excellent pick-up, Ben. Your collection, as I have mentioned many a time before, continues to make me burn with envy.
