Not as wild as a piece he would do today, but has a great control of the slick inkwork against blank white of negative space. It makes Snake Eyes stand out even more than what a contemporary piece would.
You can see Hotz rounding out this style to what it'll end up being! Stark ins vs white space, and that crazy detailing is on its way. Nice Snake Eyes add, man, and looking forward to seeing your commission when complete!
