DescriptionAfter breaking into American comics in the late 2000’s, Italian artist Emanuela Lupacchino has stayed very busy working on many different titles for several of the top publishers. Her first Star Wars cover was for Han Solo #1 in 2016. She has since worked on a handful of other Star Wars books, but this one really got my attention. Mando does the hero walk on this cover, with dirt and debris ascending from the ground and his tattered cloak fluttering in the wind. Very dramatic, but necessary because he's on a mission to save Grogu. :)Social/Sharing |

Gorgeous Mandalorian cover by Emanuela Lupacchino! She really captures that confident heroes' walk that he does. Love the detail she put into his uniform and helmet as well as his tattered cloak. Complemented by fantastic inks from Ema Lupacchiino. Great pick-up, congrats!

Much like on the show, Mando's expressions and attitude are conveyed through body lanugage with gestures, the scene blocking, and the lighting that highlights and affects mood. It's a full production before the first drop of ink is applied.
