The Amazing Spider-Man #324 (Marvel, 1989)

Spidey has an Ultimatum soldier all webbed up on this wonderful opening title splash from only the second issue of Amazing drawn by Erik Larsen, a fill-in before taking over as series penciler from Todd McFarlane just five issues later. Not only is this a great image of Larsen's version of our favorite web-head, but this is a rare survivor of Larsen's early artwork, as all of his pre-1991 artwork that was still in his possession was destroyed in a house fire.
