Detective Comics #58 (DC, 1941)

This is only the second time Heritage has offered an original, published Fred Ray cover featuring Batman and Robin! It's a rare, Golden Age treat for fans of the Dynamic Duo on this vintage cover by the luminary art team of Fred Ray and Jerry Robinson (who co-created Robin). Fred Ray's portrayal of the Boy Wonder, dangling in danger as the Caped Crusader swings into action and drawn using dynamic angles, is magnificent, and although not pictured on the cover, this issue introduced Mr. Boniface, who would later evolve into the popular Batman villain knows as The Penguin.
