Description
This is one of Archie Comics' big "First Appearance" issues! It was the first appearance for Josie, Melody, Pepper, and the boys who love them. They were created by Dan DeCarlo, and Josie herself is named after DeCarlo's wife, Josie.
The series title changes to She's Josie, and back, before eventually becoming Josie and the Pussycats with Issue #45. This introduced Valerie and the "Pussycat" costumes.
