The way Jeffrey handles the colors for this piece matches the pure joy shown in her wholesome smile!
I'm glad I saw commissions on CAF that Jeff had drawn for other people, and that I was able to contact him. Love his style, I wish his Legion run had gone on for decades. He's of a much younger generation than other long-time favorites I've commissioned like Ramona Fradon, Ernie Chan and Jim Mooney, but the thrill of receiving artwork from Jeff is similar to the thrill of receiving art from that older generation (may Ernie and Jim rest in peace).
