This was one the best arcs in comics. Paul Smith was my favorite artists on the series. I wILL pickup his ARTIST edition.
“All beings carry a capacity for good and evil … Our reason … gives us the responsibility of choosing between them,” says the Watcher, at the end of “X-Men” No. 137. “Jean Grey could have lived to become a god. But it was more important to her that she die… a human.”
The smile on Phoenix's gave is a welcome sight considering her fate.
Congrats.
Delicate and poetic with a nice balance of detail and clean glow coming off the radiant linework by Smith.
