DescriptionJared created a wonderful scene of Spider-Man, as he attempts to use his webbing to stop a building from falling. Jared considers this to be one of his sketch commissions, while I find it to be a wonderful moody and active piece. His use of pale yellows and off-whites really help to set off the darker, more shadowy areas. Wonderful stuff. Done in watercolor gouache.Social/Sharing |

Fantastic Cullum painting that puts Spidey in an impossible situation and you can feel the strain that tests his resolve! It powerfully evokes mood and idea above photographic detail. It lets you know that sometimes powers are not enough and that extra effort is needed.
