"On The Road" is a short story that was published in the Italian TPB Il Corvo: Memento Mori (The Crow: Memento Mori). "On The Road" did not make it into the four part mini-series published in the U.S., unfortunately, but Sara did.

Memento Mori follows a resurrected "Crow" named David Amadio, a Catholic alter boy, through the streets of Rome as he seeks vengeance against the terrorists that murdered him and his girlfriend, Sara Palladino.

Here's the catch: David couldn't finish the job and, as a consequence, Sara is reborn as a Crow and, in a twist that I never saw coming, kills David who had become weak and vulnerable. A Crow that kills another Crow. A true badass!

An added plus, it’s by Dell’ Edera. I’ve been unsuccessfully trying to acquire one of his SIKTC OA pieces for a while now… this one helps keep the hope alive!
